About Mesotopos

Mesotopos is a few kilometres to the east of Eressos. It is located in the western part of Lesbos (Lesvos), about 78 km from the town of Mytilene. As in most Greek villages, the most important buildings of the Mesotopos are the churches. The church of Agios Demetrios, dates back to 1720, while the church of Panagia (Virgin Mary) was built in 1756.
